Sohail Rahman

        Born in Chester, in the United Kingdom, Sohail Rahman, popularly known as “So Rahman” is an award-winning news and programmes presenter. He is currently a senior news anchor and correspondent for Al Jazeera, based in Doha (Qatar).
So Rahman has worked for ITV Granada, BBC, Channel 4 and CNN, and has reported from across the Middle East and South Asia.

While working for ITV Granada, So Rahman won the Royal Television Society Best Television Presenter in 2003 for Granada Reports and CrimeFile.
He has also won The Asian Film Academy, best male television presenter three times in his career. He won this prestigious award in 1993 when he worked for BBC and in 1995 and 1996 when he worked for ITV Granada.
Sohail has more than 15 years of television reporting and presenting experience and he is keen to pass on his knowledge to others.
