TV DOCUMENTARY MAKING
Diana Muir is an experienced journalist, TV producer, director and series producer who work with the Thomson Foundation.
For more than 20 years she researched, directed and produced a wide range of documentary and current affairs output. She was based in Yorkshire Television's awardwinning documentaries department for many years working on long-form documentary as well as returning peak ITV current affairs. After becoming a freelance she made factual programmes for Sky, Discovery, Five and the BBC.
Diana Muir is trainer and she works as a media training consultant at the University of
Leeds. At Thomson Foundation, Diana is currently part of the team of consultants working in Sudan on their project to build media capacity. She has trained journalists for the Foundation in Nigeria, Bangladesh, Zimbabwe, Zambia, China and Qatar.
