Born in Cyprus, Antonis Karatzias is the co-founder of the Cyprus Media Academy. He studied Business Administration at the University of Macedonia, Thessaloniki, Greece.
Mr Karatzias has over 26 years of experience in HR management. He currently works at Dias Media Group in Nicosia, Cyprus. He has worked at DIAS Media group for over 12 years, of which for the first 10 years, he worked as the human resources manager and currently, he is the innovation and development manager.
During his career, Antonis Karatzias managed successfully a number of change programmes (culture change, restructuring etc.) in the companies he has worked for and he has indeed managed to establish companies’ visions and missions. He is a qualified accountant authorised by the Cyprus Ministry of Finance and he is also a qualified leadership development trainer authorised by the human resources development authority. Additionally, he is a member of the Cyprus Human resources management Association. MrKaratzias is experienced in managing EU funded projects (which he has been doing since 2006). In these projects, he has been involved as the Project Coordinator and Exploitation and Dissemination Manager.

Mr Karatzias is always open to innovative ideas from everyone. He has encouraged and supported a few start-up companies here in Cyprus which he has done for so many years.
